Terms

Terms of service

MMVault is currently in beta. By creating an account or uploading media, you agree to the terms below.

Last updated: May 2026

The service

MMVault is a media-search service. You upload videos, audio, images, and screenshots. We process them with AI to make them searchable inside your workspace, generate transcripts, screen text, scene descriptions, key moments, and clip suggestions.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant MMVault a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service for you and your workspace.

You are responsible for having the rights to upload the content and for complying with applicable laws.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MMVault to:

  • Upload illegal content or content you do not have rights to.
  • Upload CSAM, content that exploits minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • Attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
  • Use the service to harass, defraud, or harm others.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that violate these rules.

Beta status

MMVault is in active development. Features may change, AI outputs may be inaccurate, and processing may fail. Do not rely on MMVault as your only copy of important media. Apply your own judgement to anything the AI returns.

Storage and usage limits may apply during beta and can change without notice.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MMVault is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or business arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and otherwise by general principles of international commercial law. Any disputes will be handled through good-faith communication first; where formal proceedings are needed, they will take place in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Termination

You may stop using MMVault at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users. On termination, your media and derived data are deleted as described in our Privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify active users.
